IN OTHER NEWS Some good performances from teams at all age groups at weekend A special mention has to go to 3 teams.
The U12 hurlers who travelled to and beat Ballyboden on Saturday afternoon in a thrilling match.
The U9 hurlers who down the road at Faugh's in Templeogue again produced a spirited display and came out on top 8 to 3 against a hurling only club.
Last by no means least was the U12 footballers who travelled to Broomfield in Malahide on Sunday afternoon. Despite trailing at half time this group of guys showed again that they never know when they are beaten. A great second half performance seen the 12's beat their opposition and look likely to progress to the semi finals of the cup.
