We had no winner of our Lotto Jackpot for €11,350 last Sunday night in the Tavern. We had two match 3 winners Gerard Kyne & Enda Mannion). Promoter's prize went to John Newell. Numbers drawn were 3-10-21-30. Next week's draw will be for €11,500 and will be in Murphy's on Sunday night. Well done to our Junior B squad and management who secured the Division 6 title with a 2-4 to 1-5 victory over Kilconly in the league final in Tuam. Promotion to Division 5 is our reward for the win. Ger Fahy at centre back was man of the match, while Cathal Newell did the majority of our scoring up front. They were ably helped by Fergal & Owen Carey as well as Stephen Monaghan and Darren Hannon at corner back. Our u15s qualified for a league final play off with Menlough and Miltown after a good win at home to Caltra. We kept the score board ticking nicely throughout the first half through 6 points from Mikey O Brien, Darren Higgins (2) and 1 each from Cathal Roddy, Alan Toher and William Moggan. Caltra started the second half the stronger and scored 1 01 without reply but from the kick out after their goal we went straight up the field and scored a goal of our own through Louis McGeehan. That broke the Caltra resistance and further goals from Conor Walsh and Cathal Roddy as well points from Michael O Brien (2) Alan Toher, Louis McGeehan and Darren Higgins 1 each saw us through to the play off. Hard luck to the u-12's who lost out to a strong Kilconly team in the final yesterday. A brave effort and a memorable season, well done to the team and management.
