We had no winner of our Lotto Jackpot for €11,050 last Sunday night in the Angler's Rest. We had no match 3 winners so drew five lucky dips - Aiden Keane, Morgan Lee, Tom McCabe, Ann Varley, Terry Lyons. Next week's draw will be for €11,200 and will be in Varley's on Sunday night. We crashed out of the Junior B championship last Sunday at the North Board Semi-Final stage, defeated by 4 points by Killererin who were full value for their victory on the day. Disappointing for the bunch of players and management who have put in massive effort all year. We have a league final to look forward to that will be a chance to redeem ourselves after a poor performance today. Thanks to all who travelled to Corofin to support us. Our Intermediates continued their good form in the league as they made short work of a struggling Clifden side in Letterfrack. We scored at will throughout, with Paraic Walsh and Niall & Alan Meenaghan in good form up front. Three players coming back from injury also played well in Johnny Leahy, Shane O'Neill and Dylan Corbett. Michael Day, Eoin McHugh, Evan Flynn and Dan Garvey were dominant in the middle of the park and our defence was extremeley solid as a unit, only giving away a solitary score in the 60 minutes. Our recent results mean we are now chasing promotion from Division 4 and a possible league final, with two games remaining. The first of those will be at home vs Williamstown next weekend. Thanks to the team at PFS ATAK Sports who have generously sponsored gloves and socks to the Junior B squad. We will be starting Last Man Standing again on October 4th, this weekend. First prize will be €300 and second prize is €100.
