We had no winner in our Facebook Live lotto draw for a €26,700 jackpot on Sunday night. Numbers drawn were 15,16,29,33. We had no match 3's so we picked five lucky dips: Niamh O Toole, Cargin, Headford; Dympna Hennelly, Clydagh, Headford; Gerard Kyne, Culleen, Headford; Bridie Gillon, Clydagh, Headford; Tommy McIntyre, Limerick. Next lotto draw will be on Sunday October 1st on Facebook Live at 9pm and the jackpot will be €26,850. Tickets can be bought on our website and in Tesco, Monaghan's Centra, The Trading Post, Ted McHugh's, The Angler's Rest and Varley's. If you want your name added to the list for our weekly reminder to play the lotto, let a club member know.
U-7's and U-9's training on Thursday evening. They will finish up on October 5th.
U-12's played their shield final against Claregalway last Thursday in Knockdoemore. Unfortunately the result didn't go our way. Thanks to the management and players for their efforts all season.
Minors play their shield semi final on Sunday morning against Menlough/Padraig Pearses in Headford at 11.30am.
Juniors played Athenry in the North Board semi final on Saturday in Headford, winning 3-13 to 2-6. A poor start saw the visitors hold a six point lead at one stage. We closed the gap to 2-6 to 2-5 by half time. Our scores came from Mark Earnor, Padraic Cunningham and Josh Greaney. The second half was a different story as we outscored our opponents 1-8 to 0-0. Sean Birmingham, Mark Earnor and Sean Lee were our scorers. Thanks to the large crowd that turned up to support us. The North Board final against Menlough will be on the weekend of October 7th/8th.
