We had no winner in our Facebook Live lotto draw for a €24,900 jackpot on Sunday night. Numbers drawn were 9,13,16,21. We had two match 3's who share €150: Brian O Connell, Horsevalley, Headford; Marie Burke, Ratesh, Kilconly. Next lotto draw will be on Sunday July 9th on Facebook Live at 9pm and the jackpot will be €25,050. Tickets can be bought on our website and in Tesco, Monaghan's Centra, The Trading Post, Ted McHugh's, The Angler's Rest and Varley's.
U-7 training on Monday's on PCH's pitch.
U-9's train on Monday and Thursday.
U-11 training on Monday and Saturday.
U-12's were defeated by a strong Caherlistrane side on Sunday. They are fixed to play Annaghdown at home on Sunday July 16th at 11am.
U-13's played Kilkerrin/Clonberne/Killererin on Friday and won, 2-15 to 3-8. Training on Tuesday and Sunday.
U-15's are fixed to play Moycullen away at 7pm next Tuesday.
U-17’s A team are away to Monivea/Abbey this Sunday at 11.30am. The B team opened their campaign with a great win over Tuam Stars, 4-10 to 2-13. They are away to Claregalway on Sunday at 6.30pm.
U-19's are fixed to play St Brendan's at home today, Wednesday, at 7.30pm.
Our Junior's championship campaign opens with a home game against Athenry on July 30th, followed by away games against Menlough and Ballinasloe.
Junior B's played Mountbellew/Moylough on Saturday, falling to a 3-7 to 1-11 defeat. Despite the loss, they have qualified for a semi final in two weeks time, away to Dunmore McHales.
This Friday July 7th there will be two adult challenge matches played as a fundraiser to help out our neighbours Corrib RFC who were victims of an arson attack lately. St Furseys will play Caherlistrane at 6pm and Headford will play Caherlistrane at 7.30pm. Entry will be €10 for adults and €5 for students while u-12's will be admitted free.
