We had no winner in our Facebook Live lotto draw for a €22,500 jackpot on Sunday night. Numbers drawn were 6,11,26,28. We had no match 3's so we picked five lucky dips who share €100 - Danny Corbett,Cloughmoyne Headford; Joan Greaney, Ballyhale, Headford; James Mullarkey, Cloughanover, Headford; Patsy Forde, Balrickard, Headford; Emma Byrne, Fruithill, Carlow. Next lotto draw will be on Sunday March 19th on Facebook Live at 9pm and the jackpot will be €22,500. Tickets can be bought on our website and in Tesco, Monaghan's Centra, The Trading Post, Ted McHugh's, The Angler's Rest and Varley's. Our Community Walks continue every Monday and Thursday at 7pm for the month of February. There are refreshments for everyone upstairs in the clubhouse afterwards. Our Junior team got their league campaign underway on Saturday in Inverin against Michael Breathnachs. The hosts made the better of the early exchanges with the elements and raced into an early lead. We slowly got to grips of the game and by half time had clawed our way back to 8-4.We started the second half as we finished the first and fought hard to bring ourselves back to a level game at 1-5 to 8. Our hard work and physicality kept the opposition at bay and we went into a 2 point lead with minutes remaining 1-11 to 12 points. MB finished the stronger and kicked the last three points to edge us out by the slimmest of mrgins, 1-11 to 0-15.
