U-15 A team played Monivea/Abbey at home and won a tight battle to qualify for the knockout stages. Our B team have also qualified for their knockout stages. Well done to our club members who represented Galway underage teams at the weekend. The u-14s played Kildare and we were represented by Ciaran O Donnell, Leon Cunningham, JJ Oifoh, Oisin Fahy and Cian Mellett The u-15s travelled to Kerry and we had Michael O Neill, Kyle Greaney and Cathal Gavin in action. Our Cul Camp was a huge success last week with roughly 180 kids attending. Big thanks to Louise Murphy who did a great job co-ordinating the week's activities and to the young members of Headford GAA and St Fursey's LGFA who coached all week. Hard luck to Galway on their defeat to Kerry on Sunday. Thanks to Sean Kenny and Justin Ryan who put a huge effort into sorting out everyone with tickets.
