Thank you to everyone in the club for all their hard work for the very difficult and different 2020 season and to those who have volunteered for a club role in 2021. It is greatly appreciated as without this the club would not be able to provide football to our members.
It was an honour and privilege for Headford GAA club to handover a €10,000 donation last week to our 5 chosen charities following the success of the TJ Keady Parish League Charity Tournament held last Christmas.
We were delighted to present Corrib Mask Search & Rescue, Cancer Care West, Croí Heart & Stroke Charity, MS Ireland & Galway Hospice a cheque for €2,000 each, with the help of the Keady family.
This was solely down to the huge generosity shown by the people and businesses of Headford and surrounding communities before, during and after the Parish League held on the 29th of December last year.
Following the success of the inaugural Charity Tournament in 2018 which raised over €7,000 we were thrilled to be able to surpass that figure in 2019.
The club would like to thank everyone involved for their hard work in organizing the event including Stfurseys Ladies GAA who were a huge help and in particular to the main organiser Neil Walsh.
Normally we would be busy putting the final details together for this year’s event but alas in the current situation it is not to be for 2020. We sincerely hope that we can come back bigger and better in 2021. In the meantime the club would like to wish everyone a healthy and happy Christmas

The prize amounts above are what each winner will receive.
