We had no winner of our €20,000 lotto jackpot last Sunday night in Varley's. We had two match 3 winners sharing €150 - Clara & Marian Moylan (Liss) & Brian Moran (Ellagh). Numbers drawn were 1-9-19-26. Promoter's prize went to Charlie O'Sullivan. Next week's draw will be for €20,000 and will be held in Campbell's Tavern on Sunday night.
It is with a heavy heart that we write these few words for one of the most loved characters of the parish who sadly got called away to his eternal reward last week.
Ray Moylan was taken from his family and his community much too soon.
To our Club he was the “Stokes Kennedy & Crowley” who oversaw the running of our Lotto Draws every Sunday or Monday nights.
Ray was also a husband, a father, and a grandfather. He loved his family dearly.
To his wife Teresa, daughters Caroline & Deirdre, son Conor, daughter in law Marian, grandchildren Lucy & Clara we extend or deepest sympathies.
The club would also like to send our deepest condolences to the Bane family on the passing of Mary.
