We had no winner of our lotto jackpot last Sunday night in the Headford Arms. We had no match 3 so we drew 5 lucky dips - Julie Dooley (Cloughanover), Aiden Keane (Culleen), Mike Fahy (c/o OPW), Brian Moran (Ellagh), Tom Corbett (Culleen). Numbers drawn were 2-13-26-31. Next week's draw will be for €11,350 and will be held in the Angler's Rest Hotel on Sunday night. The Intermediates lost to Aran Islands in the first group game of the Championship last Sunday in Spiddal. Final score 0-12 to 0-11. Full report next week. We now need to win the final 2 games of the group vs Carna-Cashel and St. Gabriel's, which will be played later in the summer. We now turn our attention back to the league, where we play Kilconly away on Saturday at 6pm.
The u-16s lost to Cortoon at home in the league last Tuesday to leave them mid table after 4 games. They play Kilkerrin/Clonberne away on Tuesday evening.
Our u-14s made it 3 wins from 3 in the league last Friday defeating Kilkerrin/Clonberne at home. They play Kilconly this Friday at home at 7pm.
Well done to the u-12 teams who started their league with wins over both Monivea/Abbey's teams on Sunday. They lost to Salthill/Knocknacarra in the third game of the day.
