There was one winner of our Lotto Jackpot for €7,850 on Sunday night in Campbell's Tavern, congratulations to Karen Gallagher (Corrandulla). We had one match 3 winners sharing €150 - Jarlath Keady (Portumna). Numbers drawn were 2-19-23-30. Next week's draw will be for €5,000 and will be held on Bank Holiday Monday night in Murphy's, Kilbeg. Saturday evening saw our Intermediates take on Dunmore in the latest round of league games in Division 3. The first half was a battle between the defences and a low scoring affair. Thankfully we were on the right side of a 1-2 to 3pts lead at the break, despite playing with the strong breeze. The second half was a lot more open and although the home side opened the scoring from the restart they would only register two more points for the rest of the game. We finished the game strong and added 2-6 to our half time scoreline. While there was some good individual performances credit has to go to each of the 21 guys who all played their part in this team performance. The result leaves them with 4 points from 5 games in Division 3. Again thanks for all who travelled to support. Our Juniors rounded off the league with their second draw of the campaign vs Corofin last Friday evening in Headford. With the prior knowledge that a win could have secured a league final place it was a somewhat frustrating result after what has been an excellent league performance for our second team in the highly competitive Division 5.
