We had no winner of our Lotto Jackpot for €5,000 on Sunday night in the Angler's Rest Hotel. We had no match 3 winners so we drew 5 lucky dips who receive €20 each - Ronan Biggins (Galway Rd), Tom Hughes (Mountross), Enda Hannon (Cloughanover), Pat Hynes (Owerbeg) & TJ Keady (Ower). Numbers drawn 7-11-15-18. Promoter's prize went to Tom Murphy. Next week's draw will be for €5,150 and will be held next Sunday night in Varley's.

The Intermediates made it 4 wins from 4 in all games on St. Patrick's Day with a 1-6 to 0-8 victory at home to Caherlistrane. In what was a relatively poor game in terrible weather conditions we held out for the win in the end. Best on the day were Ronan Higgins, Dylan Corbett, Geoffrey Corbett and Dave Hannon. 

They play St James's next Saturday at 4.30pm in Headford in the last group game of the John Dunne Cup. The daunting task of senior champions Corofin awaits the winners in the 1/4 final of the competition. All support is welcome and very much appreciated by the players and management.

The minors lost out to table toppers Oranmore-Maree yesterday on a score line of 3-14 to 1-10 to leave them mid table in the B2 league. On a tough away day Robert Forde made some great saves, while Eoghan Halloran, Louis Mcgeehan, Gavin Lee & Colin O'Reilly were among our top performers out the field. Daragh Conneely netted our goal but Oran were deserved winners on the day
