Friday 12th July: Under 13 Division 2A Championship: St Michaels v Spiddal at 7pm in Westside.
Friday 12th July: Junior B Football Championship West: Carna/Caiseal v St Michaels’ at 7:30pm in Rossaveal.
Friday 12th July: Under 17B West Football Championship: Claregalway v St Michaels’ at 8pm in Knockdoemore.

Division 4B County League Final: Tuam Stars 1-18 – St Michaels’ 1-11.
News: St Michaels’ Junior team were defeated in the County Final on Sunday last when Tuam Stars scored a seven point victory over them in Tuam Stadium. Michaels’ got off to a flying start and with midfielder Darren Sinton scoring 1-02 inside the first nine minutes, were good value for a 1-06 to 0-03 lead on the first quarter. An injury to Fionán Cruise seemed to have a negative effect on matters and by half time it was a one point game with St Michaels’ leading 1-07 to 0-09. The third quarter was one to forget for the City side who were over ran on the scoreboard by six points to zero. Michaels’ then got four points on the bounce, but Tuam had still something in the locker and won cosily by 1-18 to 1-11. Team: B. Sheridan, C. Keane, J. Downes & L. Wyer. L. Brannigan (0-1), D. Top marks to Dylan Thornton & his band of lads & lassies that are running a huge Cúl Camp this week at Westside with numbers up at the 150 mark.

It’s GOLF, GOLF & more GOLF for the next 3 weeks as St Michaels’ GAA Club’s Annual Golf Am-Am takes place this year on Saturday 27th July 2024 at Oughterard Golf Course. Tee Times are available from 08:00am to 03:00pm and can be booked through John Ruane at 085 7432043. Tee Boxes for €100.00 can be booked through Eamonn Smyth at 087 6471305. After the weekly Lotto, the Golf Am-Am is THE most important event in our fundraising calendar and we dearly need Tee Box Sponsors, Tee Box Sellers, and of course Golf Teams to participate. Cost: €100.00 per Tee Box & €120.00 per Team.
