St Michaels’ 3 adult men’s teams will all see action this weekend as the Leagues move on in to the second half of their schedules.
The Senior team will travel to Tuam where the local side will provide the opposition at 12 noon on Sunday next 22nd May 2022.
St Michaels’ Junior A team put their unbeaten record on the line on Saturday evening next when they travel to Rossaveal to play Lettermore at 6pm.
A heavily depleted St Michaels’ Junior B team travelled to Clifden on Saturday last and lost to the home side on a score-line of 2-16 to 1-09. Nathan Ward top-scored with 1-05. A number of old war veterans were wheeled out for their annual appearance and were wheeled home afterwards. They are at home this Friday evening when Spiddal will provide the opposition at 8pm.
The Club’s Under 19 squad put in a very spirited performance against Salthill last week, but all to no avail as they lost by 1-13 to 1-11 in what was the West Board semi-final.
Tonight at 7pm, (Tuesday 17th) The St Michaels’ Under 16 team are away to Oranmore. Some of these lads will also feature next week for the Under 15 team who will be away to St James. They (Under 15s) had a fine 3-10 to 2-07 win over Carraroe last week.
The Under 12s beat Lettermore 4-06 to 2-10 at the Westside on Sunday.
St Michaels Under 10s travelled to Spiddal on Sunday morning, while the Under 8s were hosting a blitz for Moycullen at the Westside.
There are great turnouts at all boys & girls’ underage sessions from Under 13 to Under 6 on Sunday mornings. It’s all about Fun, Friendship & Exercise.
