Road Hurling Did you ever want puck a sliothar as long as you were able along a road and aid a charity in the process the Children's unit in Limerick Regional Hospital well now you can. Three people per team with three team types 1. General which can include any age or gender but must have one player over 18 years, 2.Veterans over 40s men or women or 3. Ladies team must have at least one over 18 years.Be at Rieska Creamery from 12 noon to 2pm (where our ancestors played handball and also brought their milk and today a vibrant farm store is thriving ) on EASTER SUNDAY 12th April to get your all weather ball and drive it to Kilcommon Cross. Please contact John Carey 086 3139644 to enter your team (bookings available on request) or just turn up on the day . All donations gratefully accepted if you can't make it.
Membership Rates are set at €50 and €30 for players, €20 for general members, €10 for juveniles and each member receives the coveted Sean Treacy membership card and discounts from a dozen companies e.g. Hollyford Stores call to Michael and Bridgid to avail of selected offers once you produce the blue and gold card. Football The Junior football Manager Myles Devitt will soon be holding football trials so be sharp. Best of luck to our Minor footballers who play Clerihan on Wednesday evening 8th.
Hurling news Our training continues for minors U21s Juniors and Intermediates who are put through their paces by Toddy,JJ, Pat Deegan and Pat Stapleton so reply to the text by being there. Our U21 hurlers had a good session in Moneygall at the weekend where William Horrigan scored six great points Team; D O'Brien M Hogan TJ Quigley G Kennedy Danny O'Brien T Hickey Cormac Nolan W Horrigan M O'Gorman S Russell P Carey Kieran Devitt C Nolan Matt Ryan D Nolan Sub D Carroll. Next stop was the Grang Prix where eighteen lads fought for six final places and on the podium were Mark Hogan 1st Michael O'Gorman 2nd James Gough 3rd and runners up were Cormac Nolan Danny OBrien and Larry McLoughlin.
