Well done to all on a good year The Intermediate hurlers and Junior B footballers got to their West finals both unlucky to loose. The Junior B hurlers lost narrowly to the eventual west champions and county finalists and the Minors showed promise loosing the county football final by three points. The U21s reached the west and county finals in both codes winning three out of four titles loosing out in the west U21 hurling final. We look forward to further success in 2009.

Juveniles
Sean Treacys Juvenile AGM will be held on Friday 9th January 2009 at Kilcommon Hall at 8 o’clock sharp. Following a year when the Juvenile club won two West trophies and a County title in 2008 there is much enthusiasm for the year ahead. We would welcome more parents and parishioners to give one hour of their time every week to continue and build on the development work done over the past three years. To get a full insight into juvenile activities, attendance at the upcoming AGM promises to be a sociable event where plans for the year ahead are mapped out. I would like to wish selectors, parents, players and all in the parish a very Happy and Healthy New Year in 2009 with much excitement to look forward to on and off the playing pitch
