Minor Football
St Dominics 3.13
Elphin/Ballinameen 0.07
Congratulations to the minor football team on a fantastic win on Saturday in Knockcroghery. In what was a very challenging game throughout, they led the score at half time 8points to 4. In the second half, they played into a deceiving breeze, but they kept going with some serious play from every lad on the pitch. Andrew Cotton was on fire and scored a hat trick to help the team finish out with a scoreline of 3.13 St. Dominics to .07 Elphin/Ballinameen.
This game marked 5 wins from 5 games for the Minors. They will meet kilbride in the final round of the league on Thursday evening, 15th of May, in Kilbride to hopefully win the league. Throw in at 6.45pm, and all support is welcome.
U8’s Football Go Games Blitz
On Saturday, Our U8’s football team hosted their first U8’s Go Games Blitz of the year in St Dominic’s pitch. They welcomed St. Aidans and Padraig Pearses.
It was great to see so many boys having fun and playing some really good football. They managed to have 5 teams on the day, which is a great achievement. Well done to all teams and coaches, and tHanks to everyone who helped with parking, teas/coffees preparing the goodie bags, and lots more.
Camogie
Under 12's Blitz
A great night of camogie in Boyle this week. Well done to all the girls. We drew the first game against Boyle and won the second game against Athleague.
Thanks to the parents who provided lifts to Boyle, Boyle away on a Thursday night is an awkward one!
Under 10’s
We had a fantastic evening of camogie for our U10 players in Athleague! The girls had a blast playing games against Oran, Athleague, and Boyle, and we're thrilled to see their progress week on week! Huge thanks to Athleague for hosting us!
