There was no winner of the jackpot prize of €13000
which means that next weeks draw will be up to €13300.There was also no winner
of the €1000 jackpot draw.
Again I would appeal to all to take part in the online
lotto. The jackpot is now quite sizeable but more importantly the money raised
from the online lotto is ploughed back into the club and used for the day to
day expenses for the players, so for just €2 a week guys it’s a worthwhile
cause.
For
anyone wishing to sign up for next weeks draw online, its very easy
simply
type golden kilfeacle lotto into google, click the first website and click
play now,
or you can simply drop me an email and il send you on instructions
It has been a quiet week on the sports front. Our U/21
footballers await the result of the game due to be played this evening between
Rockwell and Eire Og. Should Eire Og win it would mean Golden would go through
by virtue of a better score difference than the other two teams. If this is the
case the lads will be through to a west semi final which will take place this
Saturday in Sean Treacy park at 2.00 against a combo of Solohead/Emly
Should Golden not get through they will have a challenge match
this weekend in U/21 hurling against local rivals Kickhams. The ladswill be out in U/21 hurling shortly, more
than likely the weekend after St Patrick’s day.
The senior hurling panel are still training away under new
trainer Barney Loughnane. The fixtures for the forthcoming county league have
been announced, the games will hopefully commence on March 21st.
