The draw for this week’s lotto took place yesterday evening in the Bridge house. The Jackpot prize of 14200 was won by JD Spearman of Cashel. Congrats to him. This weeks lotto is now worth 5,800. There was no winner of the 1000 euro draw. The numbers drawn were 3, 15, 18, 19

On the sports front last weekend our junior hurlers had a fantastic win over Arravale Rovers in the West final. The final score was Golden 2-07 Arravale 0-08. The game was tight all through with Arravale looking very sharp in the first fifteen minutes as they raced into an early four point lead. However the Golden lads got two goals coming up to half time that set them on their way. In the second half it was a great defensive performance from the lads that paved the way to victory as they held Arravale to just two points in that half. Arravale could not get the goal they needed and Golden ran out worthy winners. Congratulations to the team and the management of Kevin Moloney, John Currivan and Eamonn Carr
They now meet Mullinahone in the county semi final this weekend. The game takes place in Fethard on Saturday at 4pm. Best of luck to all involved.
