The draw for this week’s lotto took place yesterday evening
in the Bridge House. There was no winner of the jackpot prize of €10300 which
means that next weeks draw will be up to €10600 There was also no winner of the
€1000 euro draw. The numbers drawn were 3, 16, 23, 24

On the sports front this is a big weekend coming up for the
Golden seniors. They play Annacarthy next Sunday evening in a winner takes all
clash to see who will get the final spot in the semi final stages of the west
championship. The game takes place in Cappawhite at 7.30pm. The seniors played
a challenge last night in Littleton against Moycarkey, this was a very good
work out for the lads and even though they were beaten in the finish the team
hurled very well at times. We wish them all the best of luck Sunday evening.
Our junior footballers drew with Sean Treacys last weekend
on a scoreline of 0-10 apiece. This was a great result for the team as that was
Sean Treacys first team and they were strongly tipped to win the west. The lads
played great football over the hour and were very unlucky not to win the game.
Their next game is against Rockwell in a fortnights time.

Connor who recently announced their engagement. Best wished to the two of them
and we all look forward to the big day
