On the GAA front the U/21's returned to winning ways with a fine 3-6 to 1-2 win
over bansha last saturday. The match also saw the return of Daithi Ivors from a knee injury
which has kept him sidelined for 18 months. We wish him well in his continued recovery.
Our senior hurlers kicked off their campaign taking on Moycareky in a challenge match
in Littleton last Sunday morning. In horrendous conditions both teams served up some good hurling,
but it was clear that Mopycarkey had alot more hurling done and ran out comfortable winners in the finish,
Next week the County Hurling League kicks off, our lads will travel to Ardfinnan to take on Ballybacon Grange in
Round one. Best of luck to them
Tuohys bar after an epic struggle against the Bridge house emerged victorious last Friday night
in the local darts derby. In front of a huge crowd in Billy's the home team just about came through
5-4. The quality of the games all through were of the highest quality.
Ciara O' Suillivan also has her 21st next weekend in the Bridge house on saturday night
in the bridge. All are invited/ordered to come.
Thats all folks
Thanks again to all
