LOTTO:



We had no lotto jackpot or match 3s winners.   The numbers drawn were 13, 14, 17, 18. The seller's prize went to Eileen Ryan.  Next week’s jackpot is €2,450 with the draw in the Palm Tree.



MENS NOTES:



Saturday is proving to be an extremely busy day for the club.  We open the defence of our Senior Football title when we take on Salthill-Knocknacarra at 3.00 pm in Kenny Park, Athenry on Saturday.  Referee for the game is Martin Flaherty.



This game is followed at 4.45 pm when our Intermediate team take on Athenry with referee, Lloyd Kelly.



Then at 7.30 pm we have our All-Ireland Medal Presentation Social in the Claregalway Hotel commencing at 7.30 pm.  This will be your chance to show your appreciation of our senior team in their magnificent achievement in winning the All-Ireland.  Medals will be presented by Uachtarán CLG, Aogán Ó Fearghail.  In addition the under 21 championship winning team from last year will be presented with their medals.   MC for the occasion is Ollie Turner and music is by Marley Road Band. Tickets, costing €30, can be got in Raftery’s Post Office, Canavan’s Belclare, Michael Ryder Auctioneers, Tuam and from committee members. 



Our intermediates had a big win over Clifden in the league last Saturday.



Under 6, 7, 8, 9 and 10 continue their training on Saturday morning in Belclare at 10.00.



The Raftery Cup Finals were postponed due to the inclement weather last Friday.



A new date will be notified as soon as possible.



LADIES FOOTBALL:



U6/U8 Training  in Belclare every Tuesday  from 6pm to 7pm.



U10s Training Tuesdays and Thursday,s in Belclare from 6pm to 7pm.



U12   training for the week ahead:



The B team train on Monday 27th from 6.45 – 8.00 and Wednesday 29th from 6.00 – 7.00.  The A team train on Tuesday 28th from 6.00 – 7.15



All new players very welcome in all grades.



Our U16s had a great win in their first League game – Corofin 3-17 Claregalway 3-07.  It was a great team effort and credit is due to both teams who played an outstanding game of football in very poor weather conditions – well done Girls.
