LADIES FOOTBALL:

The Corofin Ladies AGM takes place this Friday evening 30th January at 8.00 pm in Canavan’s, Belclare.  All people interested in helping Corofin Ladies GFC continue to thrive in the coming season are welcome to attend.  If you are a voting member, please start considering who you would like to nominate for the various voluntary roles within the Club.  We welcome all people interested in volunteering to help us in any capacity.  In particular it will not be possible for one person to continue as Chairperson, Secretary and Registrar in 2015.   So volunteers for these roles would be very welcome.  Please speak to David Gower if you wish to talk about any role within the Ladies Club.

Congratulations to Helen Connolly of Corofin Ladies who has been appointed Assistant Secretary on the Galway Ladies Football Board for 2015.

We also send our best wishes to our players involved with Galway Ladies as they begin their Division 1 National League campaign with a home game against Laois in Tuam Stadium this coming Sunday afternoon.  There will be four other top quality Div 1 League home matches against Dublin, Tyrone, Monaghan and Kerry.  All these games are being held in Tuam during February and March.  Children and students have free entry to these games.  Adults can purchase a season ticket for all five games for €30.
