LOTTO:



We had no winner of the lotto jackpot.  Numbers drawn 2, 4, 11, 20.  There were two match 3s – David Kilkelly and Nora Hussey.  Next week's jackpot is €11,150 with the draw in the Palm Tree.



MENS NOTES



The club has an exceptionally busy weekend ahead with our juniors, seniors and intermediates all involved in the championship.  In addition we take part in boys and girls Féile Peil na nÓg, hosting clubs from Cork and Dublin.



The Junior A team commence the championship with a game against Annaghdown on Thursday evening at 8.00 pm in Tuam. 



Our seniors play Tuam Stars in Tuam at 12.00 pm on Sunday, while our intermediates have been drawn to play An Spidéal.  The details of this game have yet to be confirmed. 



Congrats to the under 12s who won the EasyFix league on Saturday morning in Kilconnell defeating Padraig Pearse’s from Roscommon.



Under 8s and 6s continue training on Saturday morning at 10.00 pm in Belclare.  We will then have a 2nd session on Mondays at 7.30 in Corofin for the summer as some may be away at weekends.



The club sympathises with the Hession family, Gortbeg on the death of Paddy Hession, RIP.



FÉILE:



The Club is delighted to welcome Nemo Rangers Club (boys) from Cork and Cabinteely –Foxrock (girls) from Dublin to Corofin this weekend for the All Ireland Under 14 Féile Competition, which is being hosted in Connacht this year.  We hope that they enjoy being in our company and we are confident that they will feel very welcome.



The boys play in Division 1 - Group B, in a group with Claregalway, Nemo Rangers and Bredagh (Down).  Our first match is against Bredagh at 5.40pm on Friday evening in the Prairie, Salthill.  A match against our neighbours from Claregalway follows this at 7.00pm in Pearse Stadium. 



The girls play in Division 1 - Group A, in a group with St Rynagh’s Offaly, Kilkerrin-Clonberne and Foxrock-Cabinteely.  They play their first game on Friday at 5.00 pm in Kilkerrin-Clonberne pitch against v St Rynagh’s.  They then play Kilkerrin-Clonberne at 6.20 on Friday evening.



Then on Saturday morning our girls play Foxrock-Cabinteely at 10:30 in Corofin followed by our boys game against Nemo Rangers also in Corofin at 11.30.



On Saturday evening, both the boys and girls Féile teams will participate in Mass at 7.30 pm in Corofin Church.  This will be followed by a BBQ and music in the Dr. Duggan Hall, Corofin.  Later on Saturday night, Corofin Comhaltas will provide entertainment in Raftery's Bar and we would welcome parents and management teams of all the clubs to come along and enjoy an evening together.



LADIES FOOTBALL:



U10 training continues every Tuesday at 6.15 in Belclare and again every Thursday at 6.15 in Corofin.



Senior training resumes on Wednesday at 6.30pm in Belclare.  This is for U16s and upwards. 



We good luck to Orla Canney, Chelsey Blade, Leanne Coen and team mentor, Stephen Hession, as they take on Mayo, in the 3rd round of the U16 Connaught Championship,. Game takes place this Wednesday in Ballindine.
