LOTTO:



There was no winner of lotto and no match 3s.  The numbers drawn were: 3, 4, 18, 19. Next week's jackpot is €10,700 & the draw takes place in Canavans.



MENS NOTES:



Our seniors had a good win over Milltown in the league in a game played in Corofin on Sunday.  Corofin led at half time by 4-7 to 1-6, the Corofin goals coming from Ronan Steede, Justin Burke (penalty), Ian Burke and Martin Farragher.  Micheál Martin replied with a goal for Milltown.  Corofin continued to dominate the second half and ended up deserving winners by 4-17 to 2-8, the second half Milltown goal coming from Mark Hehir. 



 



Our juniors also played Milltown in the league on Monday but were defeated on a scoreline of Corofin 1-8 to Milltown 4-8.     



 



The second junior team lost to Williamstown by 1-9 to 1-16 in the division 8, north,  game played on Friday evening last.



 



Well done to Ronan and Daithi Burke who made their championship debut in helping the Galway hurlers to a 1-22 to 0-23 win over Laois in the Leinster championship. 



 



The seniors commence the defense of their county title when they play Mountbellew/Moylough in the senior football championship at 7.15 pm in Tuam Stadium on Saturday evening 7 June.  Referee for the game is Shane Hehir.



Our intermediates also play their first game in the championship next Sunday when they take on Williamstown at 2.45 pm in Menlough with referee Gerry Moore. 

Best of luck to both the senior and intermediate teams.  All support is welcome.



 



Well done to the Under 14 team on their victory over Monivea-Abbeyknockmoy in the replay of the Division 1 north board League Final played in Dr Duggan Park, Ballinasloe on Sunday on a scoreline of 7-13 to 2-6. 



The Under 14 county league final against Barna takes place on Friday evening at 7.45 in Creggs.  Please support the lads.   



Under 10s and 8s play Caherlistrane on Saturday 7 June at 11.00 am in Caherlistrane.



All players are asked to be in Caherlistrane at 10.30 am.



Under 6s continue their training on Saturday at 10.00 am in Belclare. 



 



We want to wish all our players (and their friends) taking the State examinations every success over the coming days and weeks.



 



Our annual prediction quiz has commenced once again.  Prediction cards can be obtained from committee members and through the players.   Please support.



 



In preparation for the Féile weekend, 27, 28, 29 June, we are requesting volunteers to give a hand at cleaning around the pitch this Wednesday evening at 6.30.
