There was no winner of the lotto jackpot and no match 3s.  The numbers drawn were Numbers drawn 9, 14, 24 and 32. Next week's jackpot is €9,350 with the draw taking place in Gills.



MENS NOTES:



Well done to the Galway minors, winners over Mayo in Connacht league and Corofin minors who had a big win over Claregalway in the league on Sunday.



The Galway seniors got back on the winning trail with a well merited win over Armagh in Tuam on Sunday.  Tom Healy had a superb game in goal, while Micheál Lundy made his debut for Galway and contributed handsomely to the win.  Michael Farragher replaced Micheál late on and scored a point which proved to be vital for Galway. 



Under 16s play Annaghdown at home on Tuesday 8 April in the 2nd round of the league.

The under 14A team got off to a winning start on Sunday with victory over Mountbellew-Moylough in their first league game of the season. Their next game is against Kilkerrin-Clonberne on Friday evening in Belclare at 7.00pm.

The under 14B team play Salthill-Knocknacarra in Belclare on Friday evening at 7.00.

All support is appreciated for our underage teams.

Under 12 training continues on Thursday evening 3rd  and Monday 7th in 6.30 in Belclare.

Under 10s, 8s and 6s continue training in Belclare on Saturday 5th of April. New members are welcome to any of these training sessions.



The first ever GAA National Club Draw took place on 17 March in Croke Park.  A total of €2.45m was raised which goes directly back to the 957 clubs that participated.  Many thanks to all who supported the draw in the club.  There were winners from all four provinces including: Dublin, Derry, Mayo, Roscommon, Tyrone 2 from Tipperary and 3 from Cork, but none from Galway!



CALLING ALL QUIZ ENTHUSIASTS:

The Corofin Community Development Association (CCDA) would like to thank David Gower for acting as quizmaster during our monster quiz held recently.  A special thank you to Frank Collins, to the sponsors of the various spot-prizes and to those who participated on the night – it was a very enjoyable event.

By popular demand the CCDA are organising the next table quiz on this Saturday, 5 April to be held in the Palm Tree with a starting time of 9.30 pm sharp and quizmaster is John Fahey, Corofin.  We look forward to meeting you all there for another fun night.



LADIES FOOTBALL:

U10s training continues every Tuesday at 6.15 in Belclare and every Thursday at 6.15 in Corofin.

U12s have their first League game this Thursday 3 April versus Tuam/Cortoon at 6.30 In Belclare.

Training for U12s is on Tuesday 8 April in Belclare at 6.15.

The U14s training takes place this Friday at 5.45 in Belclare.
