LOTTO:
There was no winner of the lotto and no match 3s – numbers drawn 16, 25, 29, 32. Next week's jackpot is €4,850 with the draw in Rafterys.

MENS NOTES:
Corofin go through to the county senior semi-final, following a comprehensive win, by 6-19 to 1-7, over Naomh Anna, Léitir Móir. Well done to the players and mentors on a terrific display, particularly in the second half. In the semi-final (fixed for 15 Sept), Corofin play either Milltown or Cortoon, who played out a draw in Tuam Stadium. In the other semi-final Salthill Knockncarra will play St. James.

In the U21 A Football Championship – North, Semi Final, Corofin play Tuam Stars in Tuam Stadium at 6.30 pm on Thursday 5 September. Referee: Gerry Daly – extra time if necessary.
U16s were defeated by Barna, 1-3 to 0-10 in the championship in Corofin last Tuesday evening. The game versus Oughterard in the Championship Shield was conceded by Oughterard. They now play the winners of Micheál Breathnach or Carraroe on Tuesday 10th of Sept in Corofin at 6.30 in the semi-final of the Shield.
Corofin Under 13s had a good win over Barna, 4-12 to 4-4, in a game played in Belclare on Friday evening. On Saturday, 7 Sept, they travel to Dr Crokes GAA club in Killarney to play in the Colin (Gooch) Cooper invitational blitz. The bus will be leaving Corofin at 7.15 on Saturday morning, as we play our first game at 12.20. Good luck lads, as it’s a great honour to be invited to play in a tournament organised by the Gooch.
Under 6 and 8 continue training at 10 in Belclare on Saturday@10:00.
Join the Corofin Community Development Association for the Diamond Hill Challenge – a day of walking, breath-taking scenery, great company and lots of craic, being held on Saturday, 28th September. LADIES NOTES:
Seniors will play in the County Final on Saturday 14th Sept in Monivea against Kilkerrin-Clonberne.
Hard luck to Tracey and Roisín Leonard, Aoife Newell, Leonie Higgins and Clíodhna Moloney, who were part of the Galway Senior panel who were beaten in the All-Ireland semi-final last Saturday in Cavan.
U16s play in the Division 1 Shield final this Thursday 5th Sept against Kilkerrin-Clonberne, best of luck girls.
Well done to the U12 girls who were part of the Galway teams who took part in the U12 Intercounty Tournament last Sunday in Dangan – Karen Connolly, Aoife Coen, Laura McTigue and Lilly Warde. U12 and U14 training continues.
Well done to our U10 girls who played Caherlistrane last Thursday. All girls played very well, and training continues Thursday at 6.30 in Corofin.
U8s have finished up training for this season. Thank you to all the girls who showed great enthusiasm at all training sessions. A huge thank you to the trainers and helpers who gave up their time – Larry and Brita Conneely and Darren Cooley.
