The numbers drawn this week were 5, 17, 28, 32 with no jackpot winner and one match 3, Paul Higgins. Next week's jackpot is €2,900 with the draw in Gills. Congrats to the Under 12s on winning the Paddy Clifford Cup in Sligo for the second year in a row. They beat St Mary's Sligo, St Mary's Carrick on Shannon and Castlebar in the group games. In semi-final they defeated Tubbercurry and then had a great win over Castlebar again in the final 4-6 to 2-5. Well done to all involved. The Juniors lost by 0-3 to Mountbellew /Moylough 1-12 in the league last Friday. The Intermediate team had a good victory over Headford on Saturday evening in the 5th round of the league, winning on a scoreline of Corofin 6-8 to Headford 3-8. The Seniors defeated St. James in a league game played on Monday in Corofin by 2-10 to 0-14, having led at half time by 2-7 to 5 pts. The senior team continue their league campaign next Sunday, 9 June, with a game against An Cheathrúa in Carraroe at 2.30 pm The Club has launched its second annual prediction sports quiz. Full details are on the website and cards, costing €10, can be purchased from any committee member. Feedback our new website www.corofingaa.ie is very welcome. Congratulations to Ballinderry NS, winners of the Raftery cup after an extra time victory over Annagh NS on a scoreline of Ballinderry 6-8 to Annagh 4-10. Other results: 7 a side shield Sylane beat Cummer; 9 a side shield Cummer beat Belclare; 7 a side final Castlehacket beat Correndrum. Well done to all teams involved in the finals. LADIES NOTES: Training continues at all grades for the coming week. Best of luck to U10s who play caherlistrane in Belclare pitch this Thursday at 6.30. U8s train as usual on Tuesdays at 6.30 in Belclare. Best of luck to all the students who started their exams this week. Well done to Leonie Higgins, Cliodhna Maloney, Aoife Newell, Lisa, Tracey and Roisin Leonard on their success with the Galway U21 panel. They have now earned their place in the All-Ireland semi-final this weekend. Best of luck also to our U14 girls who are part of the Galway U14 panel who play against Cork this Saturday 8th June in the All-Ireland semi-final, Orla Canney, Amy Coen, Leanne Coen, Chloe Langan, Amy O'Donovan and Louise Reilly, and also to Brian O'Donovan who is part of the county U14 management team. Please remember that registration is now overdue and players and mentors must be registered.
