Lotto numbers drawn this week were 2, 8, 10, 28 but the jackpot was not won. There were four match threes – John Lawless, Julie Reilly, Kevin Roache and Detta Quinn. Next week’s jackpot is €3,950 and the draw takes place in the Corralea Court Hotel.
Corofin defeated Bearna in the semi-final of the John Dunne Cup – Corofin 2-9 to Bearna 0-10. The game was played in Furbo on Sunday 11 November. The goals were scored by Ian Burke and Oisín Mannion. It was great to see Jason Leonard, Martin Farragher and Liam Silke come on and all three make a big impression. Corofin now play Annaghdown in the final.
Remember that the AGM of the club takes place on Sunday 25 Nov at 4.00 pm in Belclare Hall. The notice of the AGM and nomination papers can be downloaded from the club website – www.corofingaa.com. Please note also that completed nomination forms / motions must be submitted by 5.30 pm on Monday 19 November.
Tickets for ‘Duo Vocis’ are selling fast. Please support this fundraising event which takes place in Corofin parish church next Friday night – doors open at 8.00 pm.
