Lotto jackpot not won from numbers drawn 1, 20, 21, 27. There were two match threes - Aoife Molloy and Úna Molloy. Next week’s jackpot is €2,750 and the draw takes place in the Corralea Court, Tuam. Congratulations to the senior ladies team who won the A County Championship Final defeating St Brendans, Ballygar, this Sunday 16th September in Monivea. The senior team were defeated by Tuam Stars in the County semi-final on a score-line of Tuam 2-6 to Corofin 0-9. The game took place in Tuam Stadium on Sunday 16 September. Many thanks to the team and mentors for all their hard work during the campaign. Our senior team are participating in the Kilmacud Crokes All-Ireland seven-a-side tournament at the weekend. So if you are in Dublin at the weekend why not drop out to Stillorgan and support the team. Fixtures will be on the website as soon as they are available. The draw for All-Ireland hurling tickets will take place next Monday night. The draw is open to all fully paid-up members. The club has a limited number of family tickets available. Those interested in being included in the draw should contact the club secretary, Fintan Forde by 6.00 pm on Monday, either by text (087-2386830) or email (secretary.corofin.galway@gaa.ie). No acknowledgement will be sent to texts or emails. The club offers its sincere sympathy to the Costello and Langan families on the sad loss of Declan Costello, RIP, of Caherlea, Belclare. Under 15s beat Dunmore on Monday evening in Corofin. We play Tuam on Sunday next in Tuam at 12.00 pm. Congrats to Dylan McHugh, Colin Carty, Alan Broderick, Ciaran and Connor Brady for making the Galway Under 15 panel. Under 12s won the Easyfix league on Saturday in Kilconnell. This ends a very successful year for this team. Thanks to the management team for all their time and effort looking after this team. Under 10s play in the Monivea / Abbey blitz on Saturday. Thanks to Tuam Stars for their invite to the Declan Kearns Tournament last Saturday. As always this tournament was very successful and well run competition. Under 8 and 6 training continues on Saturday morning at 10.00 in Belclare. The Tuam & District Mental Health Association is holding a Safetalk Programme dealing with suicide prevention.
