Numbers drawn this week were 8, 13, 15, 19. There was no winner of the jackpot and two match threes, Nora Hussey and Martin Walsh. Next week’s jackpot is €2,450 and the draw takes place in the Cellar Bar, Tuam.

Western Hygiene and Corofin GAA recently announced the renewal of their sponsorship agreement which is now in its 11th year. A new Jersey was introduced which incorporates Western Hygiene’s new corporate logo and the new Corofin GAA crest. To coincide with this announcement, the club is delighted to launch its new gear which is available from Patricia Langan. A small amount of the old gear still remains. Under 16 championship quarter-final result: Corofin 2-15 to Tuam Stars 1-13. The team now play Moycullen in the A championship semi-final in Corofin on Tuesday, 4 September. The North Minor A Championship Final in which Corofin played Mountbellew/Moylough ended in a draw at 0-13 each. The game was played on Sunday 2 September in Tuam Stadium.
The senior league game against Milltown resulted in a 1-21 to 0-9 win for Corofin, played on Sunday 2 September. The intermediates lost to St Brendans on Saturday 1 September by 3-7 to 1-6, while they defeated Caherlistrane by 16 points to 5, on Thursday 30 August.
Corofin seniors won the Leo Kenny Cup (Connacht League), defeating Dromahair of Leitrim 1-16 to 0-3 in the final played on Wednesday 29 August.
Congratulations to the team and mentors. The North Minor A League semi-final in which Corofin play Claregalway has been refixed for Friday 7 September at 6.30 pm in Claregalway with referee: G Daly. Under 13 beat Monivea/Abbey on Sunday morning Our annual U-10 Kevin Killeen Tournament was played on Saturday morning. Tuam Stars won the Kevin Killeen Cup which was presented by Kevin's father Fintan to the winning captain. The Kevin Killeen Shield was won by St Gabriels, Kilconnell whose captain was presented with the Shield. We would like to thank all the players and their mentors for their co-operation in the smooth running of the tournament. We would also like to thank to our senior players Alan and Barry O' Donovan, Kieran Fitzgerld, Tom Monaghan, Gary Sice, Tomás Costello, Ian Burke, Conor Cunningham and senior manager Brian Silke, for refereeing the tournament. A special word of thanks to Patricia Langan for looking after all the refreshments, which were provided by parents and much appreciated.
