Corofin Gaa club notes:

Senior county semi-final
Corofin qualified for the Galway SFC final with a 1-11 to 0-10 win over Milltown side at Tuam Stadium yesterday.
It is Corofin's first time to reach four consecutive finals and the first since Tuam Stars reached and won their seventh title in-a-row in 1960 that a club has made four deciders in succession.
Milltown, despite a good start, fell away in the second half. Corofin, who will now bid for their 14th crown and 11th since 1991, edged 0-5 to 0-4 in front just before the interval thanks to Justin Burke and he doubled the lead 18 seconds after the restart.
But the crucial score came after 37 minutes when Justin Burke made no mistake from close range. Damien Burke quickly added a point to make it 1-8 to 0-4 and while Michael Martin and Mark Hehir pulled back points for Milltown, Corofin were never threatened.
Corofin: D Morris; K McGrath, K Fitzgerald, P Kelly; G Delaney, A Burke, M Comer (0-2); G Higgins, M Farragher; G Sice (0-1), D Burke (0-1), A O'Donovan (0-3, all frees); M Lundy, J Burke (1-2), K Comer (0-2). Subs: A Donnellan for A O'Donovan (56 mins), C O'Donovan for Lundy (60 mins), T Burke for D Burke (62 mins).

Minor North-Board final:
The minor team recorded a great win over a gallant Annaghdown team in a tense, action-packed game at Tuam Satdium on Saturday. Having led into the opening quarter they conceded two goals but recovered to go in level-pegging at half-time, 0-10 to 2-4
The second half saw some great scores from both sides in a tense contest with Annaghdown edging into a single point lead with 5 minutes to go. After some failed attacking forays Martin Farragher struck with an opportunist goal and despite a concerted effort by the opposition the Minors held out to win by 2 points on a scoreline of 1-13 to 2-8. This was a hard-won victory and the players displayed great skill, tenacity, resolve and patience throughout to capture the North Board title for a fourth year in a row. They now join the senior team in reaching the County Final.

They will meet Salthill-Knocknacarra this Sunday at 1.30pm in Tuam Stadium in the county final. Best of luck to all invloved
