GAA CLUB NOTES
On Sunday afternoon Galway played the Roscommon in Round 2 of the Allianz Football League in Dr Hyde Park. Despite a strong gale blowing from end to end, neither team could take advantage when they had the advantage. The game ended all square with the final score Galway 0-09 Roscommon 0-09. Kieran Molloy and Dylan McHugh started the game while Oran Burke, Patrick Egan, Ciaran Brady and Jack McCabe were named on the bench. Kieran Molloy scored 1 point. The next game for Galway is against Tyrone for Round 3 of the Allianz Football League, 18th February at 1:45pm, in O’Neill’s Healy Park, Co. Tyrone.
LGFA CLUB NOTES
On Sunday afternoon Galway played the Armagh in Round 3 of the Lidl National Football League in BOX-IT Athletic Grounds, Armagh. In a low scoring encounter, Armagh’s superior first half scoring haul kept them ahead as Galway mounted a credible comeback in the second period but couldn’t do enough to get something from the game. The game ended with a final score Galway 0-06 Armagh 0-08. Roisin Leonard and Leanne Coen started the game while Karen Connolly was named on the bench. Roisin Leonard scored 4 points and Leanne Coen scored 1 point.

GAA NATIONAL CLUB DRAW TICKETS
Tickets for the GAA National Club Draw 2024 have been distributed to members for sale. The draw is a great opportunity to raise funds to be used at Club level for the promotion of the GAA. The draw takes place on Wednesday 27th March 2023.
1st Prize is a new Dacia Sandero car, 2nd Prize is a €10,000 cash prize with All-Ireland Final Packages for Football and Hurling making up the remainder of the prizes.
