Galway had a convincing four-point win over Mayo in the semi-final of the FBD Connacht League played in the Connacht GAA NUI Air Dome at Bekan on Friday evening. The final score was 0-17 to 0-13. Liam Silke and Dylan McHugh started for Galway, while Kieran Molloy, Dylan Canney and Tony Gill featured as subs. Galway will play Roscommon in the final, also in the Air Dome this Friday evening at 5.45 pm. NEW MANAGER:
The December meeting of the general gommittee of Corofin GAA Club, ratified the appointment of Kevin Johnson as senior team manager. The club welcomes Kevin to his new position and wishes himself, his management team and the senior football panel every success in 2022.
SYMPATHY:
The club offers its sympathy to the family and friends of the following who died recently, Eileen Kelly (née Hughes), Birmingham, and formerly of Corbally, Cummer; Tim Joyce, who died in Manchester, brother of Oliver, Bullaun. May they rest in peace.
