Galway were outclassed by Mayo in the Connacht final played in Croke Park on Sunday. Galway led by 2-5 to 0-6 at half time, but were completed dominated by Mayo in the second half to leave the final score at 2-8 to 2-14 in favour of Mayo. Well done to our second adult team who maintained their Intermediate status following their 2-9 to 1-7 win over St Gabriel’s in the relegation playoff played in Duggan Park on Saturday. The Corofin goals came from Tony Gill and Conor Newell. We defeated Menlough in the junior B championship (North) by 7-13 to 2-6 played in Menlough last week. Well done lads. SYMPATHY:
