LEAGUE:
Galway seniors were defeated by Dublin in the final round of the league played on Sunday in Pearse Stadium. The final score was Dublin 2-15 to Galway 0-15. Bernie Power, Liam Silke, Jason Leonard and Ian Burke all started for Galway in what was a much improved display from the previous weekend’s loss to Mayo. CLUB GAMES:
Please note that the Galway County Board have advised us that it has been decided to suspend the playing of all Hurling and Football Club games, (both Adult & Juvenile) for the remainder of 2020. SYMPATHY:
The club offers its sympathy to the family and friends of the following who died recently, Ray Hennessy, Cork, father of Joanne McGrath, Rathmore and John Power, Ardskeamore. John was a former Football Board Secretary and served on the committee of the club.
