LEAGUE GAMES:

Our seniors played their opening game in the Division 1 Football League against Caherlistrane on Sunday in Caherlistrane.  They emerged winners on a scoreline of Corofin 2-18 to Caherlistrane 3-9.  Both Corofin goals were scored by Ronan Steede in the second half.  We thank Caherlistrane for providing a guard of honour for the team as they came out onto the pitch prior to the game.

Our first home game is against Milltown in Corofin at 7.30 pm on Friday evening.  Please come out and support the All-Ireland Champions in this game.

We were defeated by Kilkerrin-Clonberne in the Division 3 Football League played in Clonberne on Saturday afternoon.  The final score was Corofin 2-5 to Kilkerrin-Clonberne 3-11.

The team’s next game is against An Fhairche – Clonbur at 12.00 pm on Sunday in Corofin.

Our minors play Northern Gaels in Glenamaddy in the Minor A Football League at 6.45 pm this Wednesday evening.

We defeated Annaghdown by 6-8 to 2-7 in Under 14 division 1 (North) played in Cregg on Sunday.
