LADIES FOOTBALL

Our Seniors are back in the County final after a single point win over Claregalway in what can only be described as a gritty hard fought game played in appalling wind and rain, played on Saturday evening in Annaghdown. The final score was 2-6 to 0-11. Leanne got us the two cracking goals, Tracey took 5 superb points and Aoife Coen got a single crucial point, but it was the resilient defensive performance of the team that got us the win. Well done to every girl on the panel. Let us rest, re-set and go again in the Senior County Final next Saturday against Kilkerrin Clonberne.
