CLUB NOTES:
The juniors lost out to Glinsk in the league division 5 (North) by 2-9 to 1-14 played in Glinsk on Friday last.
Our third junior team play Glenamaddy in the league division 8A (North) in Corofin on Saturday at 7.00 pm.
The under 14s defeated Monivea-Abbey by 4-8 to 2-2 in the league division 1 (North ) played last Friday in Corofin. The division 3 team lost out to Caltra also played on Friday.
We had two teams at under 11 and under 12 representing the Club in the Clifford Cup and Shield in Sligo on Saturday. Although neither team progressed to the semi-finals, both showed great displays of heart and pride in the jersey throughout. Thanks to all who travelled on the day.
Our under 8s and under 10s played Tuam Stars on Saturday morning in Belclare. We had a big turnout on the occasion, so well done to all involved.
The under 13s play Glenamaddy/Glinsk away in the league division 1A on Friday evening at 7.00 pm.
We wish all students sitting State Exams best wishes in the exams starting this week.
The GAA has announced details of a new GAA Membership Card and rewards programme entitled GRMA or ‘go raibh maith agat’. This is a thank you to Club Members for their involvement in GAA clubs, engagement in GAA activities and attendance at games.
Club members can sign up online via gaa.ie/grma and will receive a new official GAA Membership Card personalised with their name, club and GAA Membership Number.
The Club offers its sympathy to the Costello family Bullaun, on the death of James Costello, RIP.
