There were no winners of the lotto.  Numbers drawn 15, 20, 28, 32.  Seller’s prize Eileen Ryan. Next week’s jackpot is €7,250 with draw in Club office.



 



CLUB NOTES:



Galway Under 21's found Dublin too strong in All-Ireland Under-21 played in O'Connor Park, Tullamore on Saturday.  Dublin won on a scoreline of 2-13 to 2-07.  Well done to the team and our Club players, Dylan McHugh, Kieran Molloy and Colin Brady on their performances throughout the campaign.   



 



Galway minors strolled to 13-point win over Mayo in the Connacht quarter final played in Castlebar on Sunday.  Galway scored 3-15 to Mayo’s 0-11.  Oran Burke, Gavin Burke and Darragh Silke all played vital roles in the victory.  Galway play Roscommon in the Connacht semi-final at the end of June.  Well done all. 



 



Seniors defeated Mountbellew/Moylough by 0-13 to 1-9 in the league Division 1 played in Mountbellew on Monday. 



 



Some recent results:  U15 Football Division 1A, Corofin 3-5 to Dunmore MacHales 4-8;  U13 Football Division 1A, Corofin 2-4 to Dunmore MacHales 2-3; League Division 5 (North), Corofin 2-2 to Mountbellew/Moylough 5-15;  League Division 8A (North),

Corofin 2-7 to Annaghdown 3-16.



 



We played Dunmore MacHales in U16 Football Division 1 North, on Tuesday in Dunmore.  



We play Mountbellew/Moylough in Minor A Football League (North),  on Wednesday at 7.00 pm in Corofin. 



We play Monivea/Abbey in Minor A Football League (North),  on Sunday at 2.00 pm in Monivea. 



 



We play Kilconly in League Division 3 on Thursday at 8.00 pm in Corofin.     



 



The Raftery Cup starts this Wednesday evening with the first game in Belclare at 6.15.  Games continue for the next 3 Wednesdays.  Further details will be available on the Club website.



 



Congratulations to Cathal Reilly who was named Senior Footballer of the Year 2016/2017 at the GMIT student achievement awards. Mayo Footballer Keith Higgins presented the award to Cathal.



 



Thanks to all who supported the Jack McHugh 7 a-side Minor Football Memorial Tournament which was held in Belclare on Monday (Bank Holiday).



 



The Club offers its sympathy to the family and friends of Nancy Coen, Anbally who died recently and to Yvonne Martyn, Corofin whose brother Christy Barry died in Limerick.  May they Rest in Peace.
