CLUB NOTES: The senior team defeated Tuam Stars by 0-11 to 0-9 in a keenly contested league division 1 final played in Tuam Stadium on Sunday. The win brought a great year to an end, adding a three-in-a-row league title to the Galway and Connacht championship victories. Tremendous credit is due to the team and mentors for their work throughout the year. Well done to all. Tickets, costing cost €10, are available from senior team members and from any of the committee. Your purchase will help the Club’s fundraising efforts and the senior team’s on-going campaign. The Club AGM takes place in Belclare Hall on Sunday at 6.30pm sharp. Motions or nominations for any committee position or team mentor must be received by the club secretary, Jimmy McHugh, by 5.30 pm this Wednesday evening. Nomination papers are available from the secretary or can be downloaded from the Club website. The Club sends its congratulations to Annaghdown Ladies Gaelic Football Team on winning the All-Ireland Club Intermediate Championship on Sunday.
