Please note Jackpot is €3650. CLUB NOTES: Our seniors avenged defeats to Castlebar Mitchels in 2013 and 2015 with a hard earned but deserved 3 point victory over Mitchels in Castlebar on Sunday. Corofin lead by 6 points to 4 at half time, but Mitchels fought back and an exciting last quarter saw the teams finish level at full time on a scoreline of 11 points each. However, Corofin dominated the extra time to run out convincing winners by 0-17 to 0-14. Well done to the team on an excellent display. The man of the match award went to Ian Burke, who was joint top scored for Corofin with Jason Leonard, with both on 4 points. We now travel to Carrick-on-Shannon to play St. Brigids of Roscommon on 27 November. St.Brigid's had a comprehensive victory over Aughawillan of Leitrim by 2-18 to 1-7 in the other semi final also played on Sunday.
