LOTTO: We had no winner of lotto jackpot and no match 3. Numbers drawn 1, 6, 19, 30. Seller’s prize Gerry Collins. Next week’s jackpot is €3,300 and draw in Club office. CLUB NOTES: Sunday 23 October proved to be a great day for Corofin GAA Club. We thank our loyal supporters who attended our Breakfast Morning and who then gave superb support to this wonderful group of players who brought the County Cup back to the parish for the fourth time in a row and for the 18th time in all. The Club now moves into 2nd place in the Galway senior football championship roll of honour, behind Tuam Stars. Congratulations and well done to the team and management. We congratulate especially Kieran Fitzgerald on winning his 11th county title. The final score in the game was Corofin 0-16 to Salthill/Knocknacarrow 0-11. The team now progresses to the Connacht GAA senior football championship 2016. Their next game is likely to be on Sunday 13 November. The Corofin under 6 team had an end of season medal presentation on Saturday morning in Belclare. We offer a sincere thanks to all the coaches, the parents and especially our young footballers for their input throughout the season. Celebrate our county final win by joining us for our Fashion Show in the Ard Rí House Hotel, Tuam from 7.30 pm on Friday evening.
