CLUB NOTES:

Our seniors return to action in the league, division 1 when they play Killannin in the Community Pitch, Killannin           at 5.00 pm on Saturday.

Our senior 7-a-side panel travelled to Dublin at the weekend to play in the Kilmacud Crokes All-Ireland Tournament.  The team had three games, loosing to Naomh Eoin CLG (Belfast) by 2-6 to 2-7, defeating Clann na nGael (Roscommon) by 2-12 to 3-8 and loosing out to Leixlip (Kildare) by 4-6 to 5-7 in the final group game.  Leixlip qualified for quarter-finals from the group.  Well done to all involved.

Under 15s defeated Caherlistrane in the league to make it 4 wins out of 4. We play Monivea Abbey at 1.30 pm on Sunday 25th in Monivea in the last league match.

Under 13s travel to Killarney on Saturday to play in the Colm Cooper invitational. Good luck lads.

Under 12s (team 1) defeated Caherlistrane on Sunday in the league to book their place in the league final. The team played very well in the first half and went in leading at the break.  They held onto that lead to win by a couple of points against a strong Caherlistrane team, who we will meet in the final of the league in a few weeks.

The under 12 (team 2) playing some great football, and some fine performances were put in by the team. However, the Caherlistrane team were stronger in the last 10 minutes, which saw them running to win by a couple of points.

Under 10s would like to thank both Tuam Stars and Annaghdown for the invites to their tournament over the last two weeks.  It’s back to training next Saturday in Belclare at 10.00 am.

Under  8, 7 and 6 continue their training on Saturday at 10.00 am in Belclare.

Well done to our Ladies Minors who won the County Final on Saturday.
