CLUB NOTES: Corofin GAA Club is holding a “Night at the Dogs” on Saturday 9 April as part of their fundraising drive for a New Clubhouse and team training fund. Ticket sellers will be calling to homes over the next few weeks. Your support is appreciated. Tickets can also be purchased on the Club website. Despite drawing with Fermanagh, Galway footballers can still qualify for the Division 2 league final and gain promotion to Division 1 provided they defeat Cavan in Breffni Park, on Sunday. Under 10 training continues on Saturday at 9.50 in Belclare. Gumshields are essential. LADIES FOOTBALL: Corofin Ladies Gaelic Football Club are hosting an exciting new programme called Gaelic4Girls which starts on 13th April from 6pm in Belclare pitch for 8 weeks. It is open to all girls aged between 8-12 years who are not registered with a Ladies Gaelic Football team. It introduces girls to football in a fun environment and all participants will get a G4G t-shirt and certificate on completion. The programme costs €8.
