The lotto numbers drawn were 7, 26, 29, 30. The jackpot not won and we had no match 3. The seller's prize went to Patricia Langan. Next week's jackpot is 7,550 and the draw is in the Club office.

Galway footballers continued their good run in the FBD Connacht League with a 3-point victory over Leitrim in Tuam Stadium on Sunday on a scoreline of 1-8 to 1-5.
Galway play GMIT at 2.00 pm in Indreabhán, (Ml Breathnach’s grounds) on Sunday next in round two of the league.
The 51st annual Galway Sports Stars awards banquet takes place in the Galway Bay Hotel, Salthill on Saturday night, January 23. The exploits of our senior footballers in powering their way to the All-Ireland title last March is being recognised with the Team of the Year award, while a mainstay of that side, Gary Sice, will pick up the Gaelic football accolade for the second consecutive year. A third award for the parish goes to Galway Ladies Football star Tracey Leonard. Congratulations Gary, Tracey and the Corofin senior team.
Club membership for 2016 is now due. Details of the various categories of membership and related fees can be found on the Club website. A completed ‘Adult Membership Form 2016’ or ‘Youth Membership Form 2016’ as appropriate must accompany the fee. These forms can also be downloaded from the website or obtained from members of the Club executive.
The third national club draw was recently launched by the GAA. Tickets, which cost €10, can be obtained from any committee member and the club will retain all the proceeds from the tickets sold.
This year, the GAA is introducing a specific draw for all clubs who record, account for and sell a minimum of 200 tickets. A draw will be done per County whereby 1 Club in each County will receive a prize of €1,000.
There is a wide range of individual prizes from a new Opel Corsa, to a trip with the 2016 All-Stars, a range of All-Ireland ticket packages and shopping vouchers and more. So for a small outlay of just €10, you can support your club and be in with a chance of winning some great prizes.
