LOTTO: In the lotto draw held on Monday 1 June there was no winner of lotto jackpot and no match 3s. The numbers drawn were 9, 23, 27, 28. The seller's prize went to Gerry Collins. Next week's jackpot is €2750 and the draw is in Gills. MENS NOTES: The seniors had a good win in the league on Friday evening last, when they defeated Mountbellew/Moylough on a scoreline of 0-16 to 1-10. The under 14 A league final in which Corofin play Glenamaddy / Glinsk takes place on Friday in Tuam stadium at 7.30, with referee Martin Gavin. Hard luck to the under 12 team and management who lost to St. Mary’s Sligo in the final of the Clifford Cup held on Saturday, on a final score of 0-4 to 0-2. The second under 12 team lost to Castlebar Mitchels in the Clifford Shield semi-final. Both teams had qualified from the group stages. All the players from both Corofin teams should be very proud of themselves. They gave several fantastic displays and were very unlucky to lose out narrowly in the end. Most importantly they conducted themselves impeccably as they always do. Well done guys. Under 8 and 6 continue their training at 10.00 in Belclare on Saturday. The Raftery cup is refixed for Thursday in Corofin starting at 5.30. All match times are as for the original fixture. The club expresses its sympathy to the extended Curley and Collins families on the sad loss of Ann Curley, Bullaun. May she rest in peace.
