CLUB NOTES
Congratulations to Caolan Slevin, Mark McGale and Cathal Colton who were part of the Tyrone U20 squad who won the Ulster U20 championship last weekend.
Our U18’s were defeated 1-11 to 1-05 last Sunday away to Greencastle. They are back in action this Sunday at 2:15 at home to Owen Roes. The U14’s get their season underway away to Trillick on Saturday at 11:00. Coaching for U8’s, U10’s and U12’s continues on Saturday at 10:00. Remember no one can take part in the sessions unless they are registered.
Membership is now due for this year, the club have 3 forms, Cairde which is £250 per year, general membership which is £50 and youth which is £10, membership can be paid online or via forms which are available in Montague’s shop.
Any business that has not already got a pitch side banner and wants to do so can get in touch with Aidy on 07597 071205. The club is running an Irish language conversation group in the Credit Union on Sunday mornings from 11:00 to 12:00, all levels are catered for and everyone is welcome. The club are hosting a one day Irish language course on Saturday 14thMarch in St. Dympna’s primary school from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
There will be 4 levels available; complete beginner, beginner, improvers agus advanced. Tea and lunch will be provided, the cost is £5, to register your interest please contact Conal on 07815 784962.
Votes of sympathy were passed at the recent monthly committee meeting to the Maguire, West, Donnelly (Fintona), Kelly (Eskra), Mullan and Barnett (Irvinestown) families on their recent bereavements.
