CLUB NOTES
Congratulations to our seniors who ended the season in tremendous fashion by winning the Tyrone Senior League on Sunday. They defeated Killyclogher on a scoreline of 3-13 to 0-10 in Loughmacrory. It was a fitting end to a great season's work by the players and management. Our senior reserve team will seek to build on this success when they take on Errigal Ciaran in the championship final on Friday night at 7:30 in Garvaghy. Best of luck to everyone involved.
Congratulations to St. Eunan’s Letterkenny who won the Paul McGirr U16 Club Champions Tournament on Saturday. The tournament was a magnificent success start from start to finish. Well done and thanks to everyone who was involved in helping out in any way with the tournament.
Congratulations to our Scor Na nOg instrumental music group of Megan Maguire, Michaela McCusker, Eilish Maguire, Kevin Teague and Ciaran Teague who competed in the County finals in St.Joseph’s Hall on Sunday afternoon. Unfortunately they lost out narrowly in the final but did themselves and the club proud. We hope to see them partaking in the competition again.
Our Running / Walking group continues on Thursday evenings at 8:00 at Gardrum Park. This is free of charge to anyone in the parish and all ages and fitness levels are welcome.
The lotto sellers for this weekend are Niall McNulty (Church St.), Matt McNulty (Corner), Liam O’Neill (O'Connors) and Seamus Goodwin (Central).
The Xmas draw winner for week 1 were Erin Treadwell (£250),Hugh McDonnell (£100) and C&S McCormick (£50) Week 2 winners were Clodagh McMullan (£250), Sean McSorley (£100) and Ruairi Gallagher (£50).
