CLUB NOTES
There will be no action for our Senior and Reserve Teams this weekend. All attention is focused on our under 16 team who are seeking to defend their county title when they face Kileeshil in the final this weekend. The game will take place in Augher on Saturday at 2pm. Having lost out to Killeeshil in the league semi final last weekend, the boys will be extra keen to retain their championship title. Best of luck to all players and managers involved. Please come along and support the lads.
The U13’s are in action on Monday evening when they play their county semi final also against Killeshil. The game will start at 7:30 in Gardrum Park. There is now coaching for the U8’s taking place from 6:15 to 7:15 on Wednesday evenings in the Sports Complex and for the U10’s are from 7:00 to 8:00 on Thursday evenings.
Our Running / Walking group has recommenced on Thursday evenings at 8pm in Gardrum Park. Exercise makes you feel better in mind and body so don’t put off to tomorrow what you can do today. As well as that, this is a great opportunity for non-playing members to get involved in the club. This is free of charge to anyone in the parish and all ages and fitness levels are welcome.
The club are launching the Paul McGirr Ulster U16 tournament on Friday 21st October in Garvaghy. Further details to follow. Everyone is welcome to come along and refreshments will be provided on the nght.
The £50 monthly draw winner was Liam Teague (Badoney). Next weeks jackpot is £21,000. The lotto sellers for this weekend are Gavin Winters (Church St.), Martin Sludden (Corner), Eugene McGuigan (O'Connors) and Seamus McNabb (Central).
